First Theatrical Performance

Several theatres initially agreed to allow us to produce Mr Different during the pandemic, but all of them had to withdraw because of government restrictions.

As the country formally came out of lockdown restrictions in 2022, we were deep into the rewrite. Later in the autumn, we settled upon casting a female protaganist. Both situations meant we were unable to seek a theatre until final decisions had been resolved

We finally agreed to put on a performance at the Contact Theatre in Manchester in January 2023. Phil Shellard will take the title role, and live music will be provided by piano, bass and drums, Pieter Egriega sharing the vocal duties with Phil.
